How to fit a tension curtain pole
Three steps, no tools.

1. Measure
Measure the gap between the two surfaces at the height you want.
2. Extend
Thread the curtain on, then extend the pole until it is slightly longer than the gap.
3. Twist to tighten
Place the pole and twist to increase the tension until it holds firmly. Check it is level before hanging heavier curtains.
